Mixed Media Weekend Workshop

What a fabulous time we had at Voxter at the weekend! I had been asked by a number of friends to run a mixed media tag workshop (with sleepovers!) - an opportunity to get messy, learn new techniques and generally have a good laugh.  And that we did!

It has been a little while in the planning but on Friday some of us gathered at the Voxter Centre to get everything ready for a prompt 9am start on Saturday.

Making Paper Roses!

The String Flowers took a bit of concentration!

The kitchen was heaving with homemade soup, bannocks and homebakes.  And then of course we still had to have chocolate!

And we finished on time - all packed up and ready to go home with five seasonal tags completed.

But already tags and techniques have been chosen for next year's workshop .....

Thanks Mhairi, Jessie, Rhonda, Diane, Julie, Thelma and Kathleen for such a wonderful weekend and to Vicki for organising it all and then being unable to join us.

And my apologies for not being around my favourite blogs for the last few days - as you can imagine it has been a bit hectic with the workshop and other family events (including the birth of a beautiful granddaughter), but I hope to get back to normal after today.
